In 1994 Valerie graduated from Tarrant County College and became a Licensed PT Assistant.
As Valerie volunteered with her church in the Special Ministries Program at a very young age, she developed the love of helping others and came to thrive in this area. With this program she was able to teach and help a population of adults and children with various cognitive abilities, combined with many sports injuries. In addition, to being a patient of physical therapy herself, she truly found her purpose.
Currently with 22+ years of experience Valerie brings a standard of excellence for achieving patient goals while working with babies, toddlers, school age children, and adults. As a Physical Therapist Assistant serving children with various cognitive and /or physical levels for 19+ years, Valerie does not believe limitations should be placed on accomplishments, functions, or fun. She collaborates through many communication efforts and educational sessions to help each patient and family achieve their ultimate goals.
Beyond the hours of helping patients you will find Valerie enjoying time with her husband and son, working outside in the yard, hiking, kayaking, and finding as much time as she can to go camping.
